About Moreen Gorial

I am passionate about working on the international level to make a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of others and the environment. I am in pursuit of a career where my actions will have an impact on my surroundings. I have applied this pursuit within my education and extra-curricular activities. As such, I have a formidable background in human health, sustainability, advocacy, global governance, security, policy, politics, immigration and human rights. I have extensive knowledge in water as a human right in addition to the millennium development goals and sustainable development goals. I approach the protection of human rights and the fight for social justice with zeal. I hold an M.A. in Globalization Studies and Honours B.Sc. in Life Sciences from McMaster University which emphasized advocacy, international law, policy, sustainability, the environment, and human health. I obtained a diverse background through a variety of courses that focus on global affairs. For over eight years, I have regularly volunteered within my community and worked towards reducing global inequalities. It is through these experiences that my infectious enthusiasm, passion, and creativity is best demonstrated. I am flexible, mobile, and excited at the prospect of exploring new opportunities. I am skilled in public speaking, leadership, team building, communication, organization and experienced in advanced research with a demonstrated history of working towards global advocacy. My diverse experience, in addition to my creativity, allow me to tackle obstacles with a unique mindset and ensure success.
