Hello! My name is Morgan Beamer and I am currently an 8th Grade American History teacher and Grade Level leader at Big Spring Middle School. For the last five years I have been the High School Track and Field throwing coach and have also been involved in extra-duty positions ranging from home-bound instruction and detention duty to new teacher mentor and Co-Teacher for Messiah and Shippensburg University teacher candidates. In the community I volunteer with the local historical society and help support educational outreach opportunities which have included involvement in a historical documentary series that has over ten seasons on Amazon! I have supported the development and implementation of curriculum for documentary series related to African American Veterans of Pennsylvania and have attained a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University where I hope to grow my profession through an instructional coaching position or within the community where I can support the Professional Development of either Historians or Educators within the state of Pennsylvania in their practices!
