About Morgan Burks

I grew up in The Ozarks surrounded by wildlife, lakes and streams, and highways lined with deciduous trees. A curiosity of the inner workings of the natural world led me to pursue an education in Wildlife Conservation and Sustainability at Missouri State University. Working in customer service through my teenage years and alongside my internships in college, I found myself at my first job with Hilton where I earned Associate of the Quarter within my first 9 months and eventually grew to lead the Front Office Team. I was able to engage in the hotel’s Green Team to promote environmentally friendly practices while indulging in my love of building relationships and growing a team- perfect! My love for the outdoors and desire for a new adventure eventually led me to Denver, where I’m now carrying my passion for making a positive impact on my colleagues, my community, and the planet we share by continuing my education and volunteering my time and skills. In my free time, I do volunteer communications work for CAEE, explore Colorado with my dogs and my partner, and buy way too many books to add to my library.
