About Morgan Cassidy

Born and raised in the small town of Tweed, Ontario, I attended Carleton University and graduated in 2010 with a B.A.(Hons.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I obtained my Juris Doctor in 2014 from the University of Western Ontario. I worked as a research associate for MADD Canada as a summer law student. During my studies I became involved with the Community Legal Services clinic at Western University where I gained first-hand experience assisting clients with matters ranging from provincial offences to landlord tenancy issues. As a law student, I also served as the Vice President of Administration for the Student Legal Society. I completed my Articles at Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers in London, Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. I am a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association and Young Women in Law. I am currently a Partner at Jeffrey Murray Law in Belleville, Ontario where I practice in the areas of residential & commercial real estate, wills, estate administration and corporate law. It is my distinct pleasure to serve clients from all walks of life and, in particular, those from my hometown of Tweed! Outside the practice of law, I enjoy travelling, curling and enjoying country life with my husband and son. I served for over five years as the Director of Youth Services for the London Chapter of MADD. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Tweed and Theatre Company and continue to be an active volunteer in my Tweed & Belleville communities.
