About Morgan Diakite

I bring a unique blend of grassroot experience, professional expertise in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and a background in cognitive neuroscience to drive positive change. My passion for fostering inclusive environments is fueled by my extensive experience in grassroots initiatives, including co-founding a network for African and Caribbean students at Utrecht University. My professional background in EDI has provided me with the skills and knowledge to effectively address workplace equity issues. I have successfully co-held a workshop on microaggressions in the workplace for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, demonstrating my ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications. My MSc in cognitive neuroscience has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior and social biases, enabling me to approach EDI challenges from a holistic perspective. My thesis on implicit racial bias further honed my ability to identify and address unconscious biases that can hinder progress towards a truly inclusive society. I am a skilled communicator, problem solver, and strategic thinker, capable of navigating complex EDI issues and developing effective solutions. My passion for EDI is matched by my dedication to continuous learning and growth.
