About Morgan Erwin

I enjoy collaborating with others and being a leader. As an Accounting and Management major, I took advantage of the many opportunities and experiences that the University of Nebraska-Lincoln had to offer. On campus, I was involved in my Chi Omega sorority as a Sisterhood Support Leader and Chapter Treasurer, and I served as a Certified Clifton Strengths Coach for the College of Business. I also held a part-time Assistant Controller position at Union Bank & Trust in Lincoln throughout my college career. After spending nearly 3 years at UBT, I took advantage of a few Public Accounting internships in Omaha, NE, while finishing up my undergraduate and graduate degrees. With being a Certified Clifton Strengths Coach, I had the opportunity to assist ten first-year students with their transition into college. I helped facilitate lectures with four team members, and I held one-on-one meetings with my students. This opportunity, along with my positions in customer service, has strengthened my communication and organization skills. My position in the Controllers Department was a great learning experience for me. I had the opportunity to take what I learned in my classes and apply it to the duties of my job. In addition, I spent the summer of 2021 with Lutz and the busy season of 2022 with KPMG as an Audit Intern. The hands-on application of these positions were all beneficial in understanding accounting concepts more thoroughly. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in December of 2021. I then participated in the MPA program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and graduated with my master’s degree in December of 2022. I look forward to acquiring new skills and experiences in my position at Timberlyne and getting involved in the Wayne community.
