Background
About Morgan Hansen
I am an enthusiastic and ambitious Music Major at UW Oshkosh. I love to be a part of many different aspects of the musical environment- especially piano and teaching. I have been studying piano for 16 years and teaching for 3 years. I will be graduating in the spring of 2017. My dream is to continue my education and receive a master's degree in Piano Pedagogy. I also love to perform and have accompanied a variety of instruments. These include voice, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, and marimba. I also collaborate in chamber ensembles. As a teacher, I strive to give my students everything they need to develop musical skill and passion. I continually work to stay creative and innovative within my studio. For example, during lessons my students are able to learn new musical concepts through games. My students are able to learn music theory, engaging repertoire, rhythm, proper piano technique, composition, and improvisation.
