About Morgan Jenks
I'm a Technical Artist with a focus on shaders and game systems. I'm proficient in Unity, Unreal, Ableton Live + Max/MSP, Python, JavaScript, C++, C#, and Git. I enjoy working as a generalist and can adapt quickly to new tools and challenges. I'm also deeply involved in sound design and music production. My artwork explores themes of ecology, technological dependence, club culture, and the supernormal. It spans graphics, sound, performance, and interaction, and has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the Telfair Museum (US), the CICA Museum (KR), the Torpedo Factory (US), and Ponderosa (DE), among others. I currently conduct technical R&D in motion capture and virtual production at Texas A&M University, where I develop custom tools that integrate 3D scanning, real-time rendering, and embodied performance. In this role, I also work closely with students and collaborators - helping them realize their creative visions by building systems that empower experimentation and interdisciplinary work, ranging from forest mapping to ergonomics for equine dentistry.
