About Morgan Johnson

As a recent graduate, I am dedicated to creating positive change within my local communities by utilizing my background in public health, non-profit development, and data analysis. Since high school, my main goal has been to uplift and support underserved and vulnerable communities. This led me to acquiring skills and experiences within the healthcare industry early on in my career. These experiences heavily influenced my perspective on the industry as a whole and pushed me towards pursuing a B.S. in Public Health. During my time at University, I obtained a depth of knowledge on public health while also diversifying my skill sets through part-time jobs, an internship, and leadership roles held in extra-curricular organizations. Through my work with Texas Global and Valley AIDS Council, I strengthened my data analysis and project coordination abilities to provide relevant reports that informed strategic decisions by the facilities. In addition to this, my involvement in community outreach initiatives, such as Texas THON, has further reinforced my dedication to making a positive impact on the community. As the director of two different committees, I spearheaded numerous fundraising and recruitment campaigns and met with diverse stakeholders around campus to raise awareness and support for the patients and families of Dell Children's Medical Center. Not only did this experience cultivate a huge passion for non-profit work, but it equipped me with essential development skills like fundraising, event planning, and donor relations. I plan to continue utilizing my diverse background to uphold my commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, wherever I am needed most.
