About Morgan Lynch

I completed a Bachelor of Business (Economics) with Distinction and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology in July 2023. I was the Valedictorian of the Faculty of Business and Law, the graduating student with the highest GPA in a double degree including a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and the Bachelor of Business (Economics) graduate with the best overall performance across the eight units in the economics major.While at university, I was awarded a QUT Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the National Council of Women of Queensland's Lady Justice Bursary. In 2021, I was featured on the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland's 'Inspo List' and I received the QUT Law Society's inaugural Outstanding Achievement Award. In 2022, I was a finalist for Law Student of the Year at the Australian Law Awards.From June 2022 to January 2024, I was an Associate to a Justice of the Supreme Court of Queensland. In January 2024, I completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through The College of Law. I was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2024, and my name was entered in the High Court Register of Practitioners in April 2024.Since April 2024, I have been an Associate at multinational law firm Jones Day. In July 2025, officially joined Jones Day's Global Disputes practice.In my spare time, I enjoy advocating for policy change as a member of the Queensland Youth Policy Collective and volunteering at fundraising events for the Women's Legal Service Queensland.
