About Morgan MacDonald

With over ten years of academic research experience I am excited to pursue my passion of working with indigenous and marginalized communities. I have international experience in India, Australia, the Solomon Islands, Fiji, and The Republic of the Marshall Islands working with stakeholders from federal, provincial and territorial levels of government. As an interdisciplinary scientist, I have a background in climate change, water and sanitation, prototype technology development, and working with under-developed communities. Having presented at numerous conferences around the world and written over fourteen peer-reviewed publications in academic journals, I am a confident public speaker as well as an accomplished writer. I developed strong managerial and leadership skills by hiring, training and supervising teams of research assistants in both the field and the laboratory in over three countries, with a unique understanding cultural differences and language barriers. As I move forward with my career, I would like the opportunity to collaborate on new challenges and to pursue excellence as part of a talented team.
