About Morgan Manzer

In my legal practice, I specialize in child protection law with a keen interest on applying lenses for equity, intersectionality, and trauma-informed practice. I strive for a collegial and collaborative approach (whenever possible) that is grounded in a strong belief of the power of respect, empathy, compassion, and authenticity to create positive outcomes. In my community-focused work, I specialize in social justice, particularly for equity-seeking communities. My primary focus has been on: 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, racialized communities, and those living with mental illness. I frequently speak to boards and organizations about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and related topics. In particular, I present on: creating safer spaces, equity in action, intersectionality, power and privilege, difficult conversations, and effective allyship.
