About Morgan Parker
Passion. It drives us. The sight of someone passionate about something is intoxicating and can unknowingly make us fall in love with whatever it is. This is why I teach music. Inspiring a passion for music has been a lifelong goal, and I work to spread it every day. As the Treasurer and Assistant Conductor for Vocal Affinity, I get to work with vocalists and watch as choral music inspires and changes their lives. Working alongside Conductor David Torres, the work of spreading beautiful, and even heart wrenching music cannot stop. Whether it is a private voice lesson, or a late-night campfire talk, I strive to help unlock the natural tendency that all humans have toward music in their lives. Benjamin Zander put it best, “Everybody loves classical music, they just don’t know about it yet.” Seeing others find the joy of music, and becoming passionate about it, is so wonderful, it just might cure the ills of this world, and I intend to figure out if it does.
