About Morgan Pope

Hi, my name is Morgan Pope, and I am a 2014 Graduate of Sacramento State University where I received a bachelors degree in Communication Studies. I was part of the Division I Sacramento State Track and Field Team for three years where I was named Captain for two years. Previously, I attended Northern Arizona University for two years where I was also part of their Division I Track program. While at Sacramento State I was a SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee) Representative, as well as an intern for The Green Army, a student booster group aimed at igniting school spirit through Sacramento State Hornet Athletics. My academic coursework includes Persuasive Public Speaking, Survey in Communication Studies, Critical Analysis of Message, Introduction to Communication Research, History of the Media, Mass Communications Theories and Affects, Communication Experience, Media Communication and Society, Persuasion and Attitude Change, Data Analysis in Communication Research, Sports Information Field Work and Field Experience in Intercollegiate Athletics. I am desiring to enter a career that allows me to work in the communication field and the media and sports fields. I am extremely passionate about sports, self motivated, independent, hard working and dedicated. I extremely outgoing and a people person! I simply want to make a huge impact on whoever crosses my path in the most positive way possible.
