About Morgan Shepard

In 2009, I was trained and certified in facilitating team building initiatives through Signature Research, an ACCT certified, 40 hour course. From this training, I worked for three months as a full time outdoor adventure facilitator at Camp Twin Lakes. After my contract ended, I started working at Historic Banning Mills, where I currently work, as a facilitator for team building at corporate, grade-school / collegiate, and military levels. I have assisted this company in developing focused workshops and have over 600 hours of recorded facilitation time from 2009. During my last year of college, I worked part-time at my college radio station as Marketing Director. I worked to build relationships with sponsors and find endorsements that helped advertise our station to the local population. From this position, I was able to host my own radio show which allowed me to develop better marketing and personality skills before I was set to graduate. After graduating from the University of West Georgia in 2012, I began working full time at Historic Banning Mills as a builder / inspector of zip line and high ropes courses on site. As of February 2013, I received my license as a certified builder / inspector from the Association of Challenge Course Technology and now have authority to work outside my "on-site" jurisdiction. Specialties: Public Speaking, Interpersonal Skills, Group Facilitation, and Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
