About Morgan Stippel

I am an attorney at Burns Bair LLP and have experience representing clients in state and federal cases and navigating all aspects of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, mediation, trial, and appeals. Prior to joining Burns Bair LLP, I served on the Board of Directors for one of Madison’s oldest law firms and specialized in civil litigation. Now, I work on a wide range of matters against insurance companies. My background gives me a unique, well-rounded perspective that allows me to provide the highest level of advocacy to my clients and achieve their goals. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Political Science. I went on to earn my Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where I graduated cum laude. I am licensed to practice in all Wisconsin state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In 2022 and 2023, I was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. I was also selected by my peers for inclusion in 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. In addition to my legal practice, I take pride in my active involvement in professional activities. I am passionate about mentoring law students and young lawyers, and I believe I have a moral and ethical obligation to give back to my personal and professional communities. I am an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School where I teach trial advocacy to mock trial students and coach its mock trial teams at competitions. For three consecutive years, I served on the Board for the Dane County Legal Association for Women and organized its annual “I Resolve” Fundraiser to benefit Domestic Abuse Intervention Services. I have also provided pro bono services through Legal Action of Wisconsin by authoring pardon applications and volunteering at expungement clinics. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, attending high intensity interval training (HIIT) classes, visiting new restaurants, curling up with a good book, and cheering on the Badgers and Packers
