About Morgan Topol

Hello, I'm Morgan. I’m a Master’s student at the University of Florida, and am working toward a Master of Arts in Mass Communications. While at the University of Florida, I plan to place a particular focus on learning more about account planning, public interest communications, and branding, particularly brand strategy and brand management. I'm also a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate classes, and I'm currently the Teaching Assistant for a Principles of Advertising class. In addition to being a student, I’m also the youngest member of the North Carolina Governor’s School Foundation’s Board of Directors. The nonprofit represents the Governor’s School of North Carolina, which is a highly competitive and publicly funded residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students in North Carolina. It is the oldest program of its kind in the United States. As a Board Member, my efforts primarily go toward cultivating and strengthening Governor’s School’s long-term brand strategy and brand identity, managing Governor’s School’s social media accounts, spearheading various publicity efforts, and creating long-form content. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in both Media and Journalism (with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations) and Communications (with a concentration in Rhetorical Communications) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
