About Morgan Turner

After graduating from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Spanish I moved to Pocatello, Idaho and spent my time first working at a daycare, and then answering calls at an Allstate Insurance Customer Contact Center. As great as working for Allstate was (and it was pretty great), my desire to move back to the Los Angeles area where I grew up was greater, so I moved back and worked as a project manager at a wonderful nonprofit organization, ANEW Foundation. The projects I managed involved keeping office furniture out of the landfill and moving them from the company getting rid of them to other nonprofits and charities that could really use them. I loved the organization, but after a year and a half I decided to buy an RV and live on the road for a bit jumping fully into the gig economy. I walked and cared for dogs through Wag and Rover and delivered food through Instacart and Postmates. I loved being on the road and the pros of being able to travel and work wherever I go outweighed the cons of working through apps for me. In May of 2021 I decided I was ready to get back to a "regular" job, so I began working at Mueller Reports as a Quality Assurance Agent. Less than a year later, I was promoted to Quality Assurance Team Lead! I have reconnected with my love of writing and am now looking for a job in a field I would truly enjoy! http://bucknell.meritpages.com/Morgan-Turner/2161481
