About Morgan Watson

As a passionate nursing student currently pursing a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Concordia University St. Paul, I am deeply committed to developing the skills and knowledge necessary for me to provide quality care to patients. I have gained hands on experience in a multitude of clinical areas, like community health, long-term care, pediatrics, hospice care, and behavioral health, and am currently completing a 180-hour preceptorship at Fairview West Bank in an in-patient behavioral health unit. My coursework and clinical experiences have allowed me to build a strong foundation in patient assessment, communication, and clinical-decision making. I am particularly interested in pediatric nursing and am excited to continue learning and growing as I work towards becoming a registered nurse. Some key skills I'd like to highlight are: 1. Patient Care 2. Critical Thinking 3. EPIC systems use 4. Medication Administration including oral medications and subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. Currently BLS certified 6. Behavioral Intervention in both behavioral health and dementia patients.
