About Morgan Weiland

I am a qualitative researcher and project manager with a background in Global Health, Medicine and Public Health. My interests as a researcher include planetary health and sustainability, women's and children's health, humanitarian health, health inequalities and healthcare policy. I completed a Master’s in Global Health at Maastricht University, with a semester at Thammasat University, and subsequently published my thesis research on healthcare inequalities and geographical access to maternity care. I am currently studying for an MSc in Climate Justice with Glasgow Caledonian University. I have previously worked as a Research Officer for Public Health in a Local Authority and a Foundation Doctor in the NHS, with rotations in Paediatrics, Acute Medicine and General Surgery, having studied Medicine at the University of Southampton.
