I am an Executive Compensation, Employment and Benefits associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins sitting within the firm’s Tax Department. I represent public and private companies, private equity funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) on all executive compensation, employment and benefits-related aspects of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings. I also advise on day-to-day corporate governance/compliance and general public company representation, including preparing executive compensation disclosures for proxy statements and other securities filings, as well as more discrete matters such as board resolutions/minutes, executive and broad-based compensation plans and programs, employment, consulting and separation/severance agreements, and change-in-control and equity-based arrangements. I am also active in representing pro bono clients in adoption, guardianship, special immigrant juvenile (SIJ) and asylum matters.
