I hold an undergraduate degree in Honours Pharmacology from the University of Alberta, where I also earned a certificate in biomedical research. I further advanced my expertise with an MSc in Psychiatry, focusing on the interactions between purified human monoamine oxidase-B and phenelzine, with a research emphasis on psychiatric pharmacology and enzyme kinetics. My skill set includes exceptional organizational abilities, a keen attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis, experimental design, and a wide array of laboratory techniques, ranging from basic pipetting to using FLEX-read spectrophotometers and HPLC-MS. These skills were honed through seven years of research laboratory experience and industrial chemistry work at Bureau Veritas. I am also experienced in scientific writing and editing, as well as communicating research through posters, presentations, and publications.
