About Moritz Freyborn
As a member of the Executive Board at STRABAG in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, I would like to inspire people for the construction industry and bring them closer to STRABAG as an innovative and sustainable company with open-minded managers. I graduated in construction management and engineering at the FH Joanneum in Graz and joined STRABAG as an intern during my studies. Since 2002, I am employed by the Group, gradually moving through various positions from construction manager to a member of the board with responsibility for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the internationally operating Environmental Technology area within the Group. In my current position, one of my priority topics is modernising the entire construction sector. The modern construction industry must support and promote innovation, become digital and also reflect environmental issues much more closely. One of my most important roles, I have as a manager is bringing all parts of the company together and getting everyone to work as one big community. When it comes to company culture, I am an advocate of open communication and teamwork.
