About Moritz Lackas

I am a social and environmental impact professional with over six years of experience driving strategy and innovation across public institutions, NGOs, social service organizations, and private companies. My previous work, shaped by my academic career and roles as an impact innovation consultant, mainly focused on managing nonprofit organizations, particularly in the areas of strategy, organizational development, and social innovation projects. Through my academic roles, I gained practical experience in teaching, designing impactful learning programs, and designing and implementing international projects to promote social innovation and entrepreneurship. As a consultant, I managed complex projects in international development cooperation, collaborating with organizations such as GIZ, Fairtrade International, and BMZ. These projects centered on organizational strategy, transformation, and impact evaluation. My ambition is to contribute to the social and ecological transformation needed to build a just society that respects planetary boundaries and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Achieving these goals, in my view, depends on effective collaboration across sectors. In my current role as a Sustainability Consultant at ClimatePartner, I bring this vision to life by helping companies implement sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprint.
