About Moritz Schirm

I help organizations embed sustainability and ESG strategy into the core of business operations — connecting climate targets, financial performance, and stakeholder expectations. In my current role as Manager Sustainability Strategy at ZF Group, I support the implementation of ESRS E1 – Climate Change across a global organization. My focus is on ESG governance, climate-risk integration, and corporate decarbonization, ensuring that frameworks such as CSRD, GHG Protocol, and SBTi are effectively applied to real-world business processes.I work closely with teams across finance, operations, engineering, and external affairs to turn complex regulatory and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans. As ZF’s representative in CLEPA and other European associations, I contribute to industry dialogue and regulatory alignment on sustainable finance and reporting standards.I’m passionate about creating credible, data-driven sustainability strategies — balancing ambition with pragmatic implementation. For me, progress, transparency, and collaboration are the foundation for any transformation that creates long-term value!
