About Morten Klinte
Founder of The Fat Plant Society. As a Danish immigrant committed to problem-solving as well as design inspired by nature, I founded The Fat Plant Society to provide green solutions for commercial and residential spaces. Utilizing my Danish Design ethic that privileges simplicity, minimalism, and functionality, I create moss designs that are not only beautiful but utilitarian as well. Moss is a noise reducing (and soundproofing) design material that also cleans the air of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and does not require dirt, watering or misting. Ever. The Fat Plant Society also provides custom succulent garden design and custom succulent installations as succulents are not only stunning in their patterns and shapes, they require much less water and overall care than other species of plants.
