About Moses Abolade

I am Moses ABOLADE, a peacebuilding consultant, educator, and speaker with close to a decade of experience advancing peace education, social cohesion, and youth empowerment across Nigeria, West Africa, and globally. I currently serve as Executive Director of the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET) and a Peacebuilding Consultant (Team Member) at Peace Catalyst International (PCI), coordinating peace actions in Nigeria and West Africa. My work bridges theory and practice, designing and leading 30+ impactful initiatives such as Peace Education and Practice Conference (PEPCON), Peace Education and Management Training (PEMAT), Peace Lovers Connect (PLC), Peace Zone, and Back to School for Peace, among others. I am passionate about making peace education accessible, practical, and transformative, empowering young people, educators, CSOs, and policymakers with the tools to prevent conflict and drive sustainable change. I am author of the PESS Manual, lead author/contributor to PETMANUAL, PEACETOL: A Literature Book for Peace, and other peace education tools. My peace media program Peace Zone has reached over 1 million viewers nationwide. Honored with awards like the Rick Love Young Innovators Award and Global Peace Leadership Award, I also serve as a Board Member of Youth Democratic Network (YDN), former Youth Lead (Nigeria) to the Community of Democracies (CoD), and a Generation Change Fellow of the U.S. Institute of Peace.
