Experienced in issues of biodiversity and sustainability in human-controlled landscapes, as well as effects of long-term human impacts on native species and ecosystems. Experience in management, translating research results and conclusions for a broad public audience, and in communicating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Has managed research projects involving multiple individuals and entities, and has worked in interdisciplinary collaborations with engineers, scientists, planners, and other professionals from a broad variety of fields. Experience working in academic and professional settings, as well as NGOs. Interested in conservation of biodiversity, habitat management, conservation planning, conservation in human modified landscapes, support of ecosystem processes and function, ecosystem services, mitigation strategies for habitats and species impacted by development and other human activities, and policies for resolution of conflicts between humans and native species or ecosystems.
