About Mostafa Hodieb

Dr. Mostafa Hodieb is the current President of the Arab Academy for Management Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS). Throughout his extensive career, he has been a board member of a plethora of international associations, including the Federation of Arab Businessmen (Jordan), Al-Tawfeeq Company for Investment Funds (Saudi Arabia), the Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Jeddah-Saudi Arabia), and Al-Amin Bank (Bahrain) as well as, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Dar Al Tahrir for Printing and Publishing. Dr. Hodeib was also a member of the Economic Unity Council, as well as a member of the Supreme Coordinating Committee for the Joint Arab Action Association- League of Arab States. Under the long-term presidency of Dr. Mostafa at the Academy, the AAMBFS contributed to the growth and development of the financial and banking sectors across the Arab world. Over the years, the Academy under his leadership extended its services through five different fields: Education, Training, Consultancy, Research Studies, and Publishing, in addition to Centers of Excellence. He also managed to accomplish numerous partnerships with a variety of prestigious names in the field of education and training on top of which comes Harvard Business School, London School of Economics (LSE), American Bankers Associations (ABA), American Institute of Banks (AIB), International Institute of Auditors (IIA), Financial Markets Association, International Financial Corporation (IFC), World Bank Institute (WBI), Financial Service Volunteers Corp.(FSVC). He also represented the Academy in a multitude of international organizations, such as World Bank, UNDP, US Aid, JAICA, GTZ, US Treasury, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In recognition of his inspirational contributions and unremitting efforts that enriched the banking and financial sectors, Dr. Mostafa Hodeib received numerous honorary awards and accolades from regional and international entities, such as- Leading Intellectual of the World: the American Biographical Institute (USA), The Joseph E. Chapman Award for Outstanding Global Achievers, American Bankers Association,(USA), 2005- Man of the Year (Presidential Seal of Honor): The American Biographical Institute (USA), 1996- Gold Star Award: International Who’s Who Intellectual, International Biographical Center (UK), 1998.
