I am a dynamic and accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in the insurance, finance, and technology sectors. Currently, I serve as the CEO of Nice Deer, where I have led the transformation of the company into a leading InsurTech startup in Egypt. Under my leadership, we have streamlined health insurance processes, enhancing efficiency for both medical service providers and insurance payers. Through these efforts, Nice Deer has established itself as a pivotal player in the market, facilitating medical insurance claim processing and improving financial accessibility for healthcare providers. With a robust background in information technology and extensive expertise in healthcare information systems, I have co-founded IT-Fusion, a medical insurance software company that supports a significant share of private medical insurance in Egypt and Sudan. In this venture, I championed the use of technology to optimize operations, reduce costs, and provide valuable insights into patient medical histories, demonstrating my ability to drive successful, tech-powered solutions. In addition to my work in InsurTech, I bring substantial experience in commercial banking, having served in various leadership roles, including as the Application Delivery Head at the Central Bank of Egypt. I hold an MBA from the London School of Business and Finance, a certificate in Managerial Economics from Stellenbosch Business School, and have completed specialized programs at the University of Oxford in Artificial Intelligence and Fintech.
