I never planned to become a data analyst. 🤔 As a business student at Cairo University, my journey began with a passion for creativity. I spent six months designing graphics—juggling freelance projects and working with a local company. It wasn’t just about visuals; I loved solving problems, finding patterns, and bringing order to chaos. Volunteering became the second chapter of my story. I joined Life Makers NGO, starting as a regular volunteer. Over three years, I grew into leadership roles—managing media, organizing exhibitions, and handling IT operations like tracking volunteer numbers, event KPIs, and building reporting systems using spreadsheets and basic data tools. 🤝 I also joined for a year, where I managed logistics and eventually became a project manager for a full-day problem-solving competition with 50 teams. That day taught me how to lead under pressure, manage data-driven planning, and ensure smooth execution. After graduation, I worked for six months at an accounting office to deepen my understanding of finance and learn how to blend financial knowledge with data analysis. This experience gave me valuable insight into how financial data drives business decisions and strengthened my analytical approach. I trained at Banque Misr and completed a program with EFE, gaining practical experience and enhancing my data analysis and financial analytics skills in business and banking contexts. The turning point came through these experiences, revealing the true power of data analysis in business. Studies show that companies using data-driven decision making are 5% more productive and 6% more profitable than their competitors—and that’s when I knew this was the path I wanted to pursue. Since then, I’ve been actively learning and applying skills in Excel for data cleaning and dashboards, SQL for database queries, and Power BI for data visualization. I’ve also developed a business intelligence mindset. Although I wasn’t accepted into ITI, I kept pushing forward. I was accepted into a German language scholarship, currently at A2 level, working to strengthen both my technical and language skills to be ready for the global job market. Every step I’ve taken—from design, volunteering, event management, to data analysis and finance—has built a solid foundation rooted in data cleaning, reporting, dashboarding, business intelligence, and real impact. 🧩 Now, I’m ready for the next chapter: turning data into decisions, ideas into actions, and problems into measurable solutions.
