About Moxa Patel

Hi there! I'm an aspiring electrical and computer engineer who is always seeking to find solutions to practical problems. I have strong technical skills, particularly in networking and programming, and an academic background in mathematics, engineering, and electronics.I chose to be an engineer because I thought it would be a lot of fun! Engineering is the field that solves the most impactful of problems in the world, like creating clean energy or detecting cancer. As engineers, we are constantly changing the world with inventions and solutions that affect everyone's lives. We get to dream up all the coolest gadgets, then we get to go into the lab and make them. I am still learning every day about what makes the world tick, like how television screens make an image or how airbags know when to inflate. My long-term goal is to work as a senior engineer in the telecommunication industry.In my graduate studies, I took on several leadership roles, including mentoring engineering graduates, coordinating university informational events for 120+ attendees, and leading the Indian Student Association. I also had an opportunity to interconnect software technology with scientific experiments and obtain an efficient solution for its working. I also have an experience in sales, social media marketing and client relations. Apart from academic studies, I have always involved myself in giving something back to the community. My previous volunteering role involved working as a Fundraising volunteer where I planned and coordinated community events and fundraising programs for a small-scale NGO to raise a monthly budget of $500 and built awareness of the association’s mission. Currently, I actively volunteer at my local community temple and assist in maintaining and updating the donation database and records of the temple.
