As a Piping Engineer I was responsible for executing the piping engineering activities(Basic and design) and ensure that deliverable meet the specified level of quality and completed as per planning. Coordination with the relevant engineers assigned in various departments within the Projects and support the Technical activities; in the fields of study, design and also during construction in line with standards,client guidelines, engineering best practices and specifications and data sheets of piping department. Assignment in basic engineering phase to prepare the feed package, prepare technical specification for piping such as paint,insulation,welding specification. as well as specification for special items and also preparation of material take off,inquiry package and review of technical proposal, review and comment on Basic documents as well. Responsible to check and comment on all the input data for design such as vendor's equipment drawing,P & ID,all related specifications, study for the best design with respect to stress consideration, 3D model of piping and other items includes equipment,structure.with assist of AutoPlant and PDMS and of course supporting and clash checking the lines,all in order to fulfil the area and to prepare all required documents such as single line diagram, nozzle orientation and ladder and platform information for equipments, the isometric drawings, equipment arrangement drawing and the piping plan drawing. Attending and coordinating model review meeting with Client,other disciplines in different stages of project. Have a very good knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards, such as ASME Codes, API/ASTM Standards Specialties: Basic and detail engineering,specifications preparation,design in 3D,coordination a team,control and comment on data(vendor,specs.),MTO activities,Model review participation,knowledge of correspond standards.
