About Mpho Shongwe

I work closely with email marketing strategies which has allowed me the opportunity to manage the customer relations, campaign automation and now lead generation at my current place of employment. I am part of a team that researches, writes, briefs and plans out automated communication that yields 70% of the company’s sales. Due to my keen interest in CRM and automation marketing I have been trusted to head up the lead generation project. I work directly with the MD and business unit manager where I correct the existing lead generation efforts, offer and implement strategies to drive more traffic to our site which has given me the opportunity to suggest web design and development.I am also form part of the content marketing team where I help plan and execute content that will not only convert to sales but also focuses on nurturing customer relationships as I believe that is how you build a long standing business. I am curious and read up daily on what is happening in not only the marketing world but what conversations are being had by change and taste makers to better understand human behaviour. I also tutor after my normal working hours and on weekends as I believe strongly in mentorship and education as a tool toward advancement. We all have value to add.My goal in to marry my love for education, business and digital marketing to help African businesses broaden their reach through technology and allow Africans to tell its story their way.
