About Mridul Karan

Hi there! I'm Mridul Karan, a computer science and engineering student at the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. I'm expected to graduate in June 2023. ‍ I have experience working as a software developer intern at Atlassian, where I worked on elastic search and microservices for JIRA, and have experience with various tools like Splunk and SignalFx. I am skilled in operating systems, database management systems, computer networks, object-oriented design and programming, data structures and algorithms, MySQL, Redis Database, Cache, C/C++, Apache Spark, AWS, Python, NLP, and Machine Learning. In my free time, I enjoy participating in coding competitions and have achieved high rankings in several platforms such as Leetcode, CodeChef, Codeforces, and Google Kickstart. 🥇 As for my projects, I have created a Telegram bot using Node.js and the Telegram API to assist engineering college students with everyday tasks such as attendance monitoring, note sharing, placement updates, event notification, assignment, and application tracking. I also developed an operating system with basic functionalities using Golang and Fyne framework for the front, and a WhatsApp chat statistics and sentiment analyzer tool with a 90.20% accuracy rate using Python, NLP, and Streamlit. ‍ During college, I was an active member of Roobaroo, where I worked as an instrumentalist and actively took part in gigs.
