I enjoy connecting the dots across teams and projects, creating awesome places to work that attract and retain new clientele, building business growth strategies, and implementing technology to improve patients' lives. My position working at Medwiz pharmacy was an opportunity to explore the world of an independently owned pharmacy and long term care. As a company, we served over two dozen nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the greater New York area and processed, checked and shipped prescriptions a day using our in-house team of couriers. Liaising between our pharmacy team and our assisted living facilities, I ensured that our workflow and system interfaces matched our client’s strategic needs. My obligations extended further to both non-sterile and sterile pharmaceutical compounding following USP 797.As a Pharmacy Manager working at Walgreen Co, the focus of my work has been expanding immunization awareness by connecting to local small businesses and community organizations. Additionally, I help patients navigate complex medication regimens and burdensome insurance irregularities with a growth mindset. Together we develop an easy to approach strategy to help the patient understand the "why" behind their medication which ultimately leads to better patient self-awareness and increased growth for the company.
