CURRENT- Currently working as a freelance design consultant (project areas-Yarn Story Kolkata, Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories, Graphic Design and Childrens Book Illustrations). Industrial Exposure- • BHARATIYA INTERNATIONAL, Bangalore (July 2008-July2009)- Design Developments for different clients based on season on leather. Developed several wash and surface development techniques on leather. Clientele-River Island, Hugo Boss, Firetrap, All Saints, Massimo Dutti,etc. • Designer in Indexport Corporation,Kolkata 2009 - 2010. • Freelanced for East Light Creations,Delhi. 2010 • Sketchbook Art Project. 2011 • Illustrations published in Kyoorius Design Magazine,Vol-13, 2013 • Freelancing for Kara, Bern Bags Pvt Ltd, Delhi. 2012- Current. • Participated in Dastakar Design Fair 2014.(Up-cycled leather jewellery and accessories; Leather haute couture men’s and ladies travel bags, handbags and clutches). • Worked as a design consultant on government aided cluster project MSME ( Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) Majuli Mask craft 2014. Internship: CREW B.O.S PRODUCTS LIMITED Graduation Project: SHILPA OVERSEAS PVT LTD Hands on experience on looking after the inventory keeping process inventory management included leather and fittings, were categorically arranged as per their types and costs. My final collection comprised of a range of bags both for mens and womens. The design process and complete development was undertaken by me under the supervision of the company managers and the end products met with their complete approval. Other Projects Cluster Development Programme.(May 2006) The project incorporated working with the local artisans of the area on a theme,thereafter developing a range of home furnishing made with katha stitch.
