Expert Coastal Engineer with over 15 years of experience, specialized in the design and management of coastal and maritime structures, including beaches, groynes, revetments, breakwaters, and other structures for ports and harbors. My expertise extends to the design of rubble mound coastal protection structures using rock or concrete armor units such as breakwaters, seawalls and groynes. I hold a Master of Technology in Marine Structures from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the University of Calicut, Kerala, India. My career has spanned roles at Jacobs Solutions India Pvt Ltd, BMT Consultants India Pvt Ltd, and other notable firms, where I have led projects involving tender design support, preliminary and detailed engineering and project management services for marine facilities across India, the UAE, and other regions. I am proficient in preparing feasibility studies, detailed project reports and tender documents, and possess great experience in project management and site supervision skils. Key highlights of my career include: • Providing concept, preliminary and detailed engineering designs and quantity estimates of the beaches, groynes, revetments and breakwater protection works for projects like NISI Islands (Abu dhabi), The RIG (KSA), Dibba Al Hisn (Sharjah), Liquid Berth Expansion at Hamriyah Port (Sharjah) and the Redevelopment of Cape Jumeirah Marine Works (Dubai). • Conducting Bid Evaluations and Bid Support Engineering of marine works for Cape Jumeirah Redevelopment (Dubai), Dubai Harbour Modification Works (Dubai), AD Ports (Abu Dhabi), JSW Ports (India), Gopalpur Port (India) and Chennai Container Terminals (India). • Leading the preliminary and detailed engineering designs of marine works for various projects in India like Mumbai Coastal Road Projects, Breakwaters at Gopalpur Port Limited, Fish landing centres at Muscat, Oman • Preparing Detailed Project Reports, Feasibility Studies and high level cost estimates for ports and costal projects in India like APM Terminals (Pipavav), Liquid & Oil Terminal (Hooghly), Offshore LNG Terminal (MbPT, Mumbai), Vaadhavan Satellite Port (JNPT, Mumbai) etc. • Managing the design and construction support for Container Terminal development at Nhava Sheva (India) Gateway Terminal (DP World, JNPT-India), Mumbai Coastal Road Project (HCC, India) and other significant infrastructure developments.
