About Mrinal Samtiya
I completed my Master's from NDRI, my research was on safety of probiotic. During my one year dissertation, i have done safety of probiotic Lactobacillus fermentum by using small animal (Swiss albino mice). Addition to that i also check the gut barrier integrity through FITC-dextran permeability assay and gene expression of tight junction (ZO-1,Occludin,Claudin). Mucin-2 gene was also analysed because it is also known for protection of intestinal epithelial layer by producing mucus.
