As a defence veteran i have served in Indian Navy for two decades. Being in Navy I had the privilege and opportunity to serve onboard frontline warships of the country and to be abreast with “State of the art” technical equipment which include modern weapon/sensor systems totally controlled by Computer system. As Trainning programmer and Instructor, I have supervised and maintaind Annual Trainning Programm, handling around 1200 Trainees and more than 300 instructors.I was responsible to manage and plot classae, exams, leave of instructors. The software to manage such Vast Database was combination of Various Miceosoft tools, hyperlinking and Emporting / Exporting. In my long Naval carrier, I was also exposed to diverse administrative roles, which calls for leading a manpower, undertaking technical/financial evaluation and future planning for sustained defence modernisation, establishing an effective liaison between Navy and multinational/Scientific PSU firms like L&T, DRDO, NPOL, BEL, NSTL etc. In my long Naval carrier, I was also exposed to diverse administrative roles, which calls for leading a manpower, undertaking technical/financial evaluation and future planning for sustained defence modernisation, establishing an effective liaison between Navy and multinational/Scientific PSU firms like L&T, DRDO, NPOL, BEL, NSTL etc. As a maintenance Incharge of Missiles and weapon system, I worked on IFS ( Integrated Financial System) That was complex Software, internally designed by naval IT Team. The Software was working on internet, integrated with our headquarters at Delhi, Mumbai, and my office. This software was primarily responsible for Management of vendors, ensuring availabilty of raw materials and spares, managing finished prducts. Creating invoice and Final payment was also part of the said system. For Auditing purposes, I was responsible to make balance Sheet, profit and loss account and various Financial Papers.
