About Mrunal Asher

Mrunal has been a good management professional, a consultant, and an academician in higher education. He obtained Ph.D. in Business Administration [Marketing] from University of Mumbai in 1979 while working at the Industry in a record span of 3 years. His thesis titled ''Control of Sales Force with reference to Indian Pharma Industry'' got approved by University Grants Commission with a financial grant for getting it published in a textbook form for the benefit of practicing mangers and management students. He progressed well at the Industry in Marketing Research Field. He acquired good research skills and in-depth knowledge in qualitative and quantitative research with hands-on experience. He practiced as a management consultant by owning a Marketing Research Firm and an Executive Search & Placement Agency with HR Consultancy in Mumbai and guided medium-to-large sized organizations by handling their customized work assignments. He acted as a Corporate Trainer in Marketing, CRM and General Management. Mrunal has a passion for teaching and is part of academics in higher education in business management, first as a visiting faculty and then as a full-timer. He has managed two management institutes as a Dy. Director/Director for over 6 years with good administrative skills, coordination and control. His specific experience as a Facilitator-cum-External Examiner will go a long way in strengthening academic delivery with required monitoring and evaluation. He has a flair for writing and keen to contribute well in national and international journals, with newness and direction. He is a man of self-esteem, the follower of good values and always eager to help others with a human touch.
