I’m a passionate and versatile Home Textile Design professional with over a decade of experience in textile design, trend forecasting, and end-to-end product development. My core expertise lies in creating compelling and commercially viable collections in soft home furnishings, including bedding, curtains, rugs, wall-to-wall carpets, and embroideries. With a deep technical understanding of rotary and digital printing, jacquard, dobby, and embroidery, I’ve had the privilege to lead design teams and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, high-quality products. I’ve successfully developed and executed seasonal collections for global retailers like Walmart, IKEA, Myers, and Home Centre, ensuring market readiness, aesthetic alignment, and production efficiency. I’m proficient in Adobe Photoshop, 3D mapping software, and PLM workflows, and have also conducted software training sessions to upskill teams and streamline design operations. I regularly share my knowledge as a guest lecturer at NIFT, connecting with future talent and staying engaged with evolving design perspectives. Beyond design, I like to get involved in community and sustainability initiatives, and in the past have volunteered with organizations like Akansha and St. Jude’s, and participated in drives like Welspun’s cleanliness campaign.
