I have 14 years of very high level of customer service, teamwork and team leading experience and now currently working for CERTIS GROUP- Sydney Airport Aviation Security as Ramp Duty Shift Supervisor, where I provide support for first-level specialist through handling escalated inquiries. As a Supervisor I am IN charge of the day of operations and manage upcoming shift workloads & respond to operational issues both face-to-face and on the phone. I also provided information of all operational issues to authorities, such as detailed incident reports and I addressed public enquires both face-to-face and on the phone. I provide leadership and direction for a diverse team of over 200 plus staff including 50 staff per rostered shift at Sydney Airport. A key part of this position is delivering security in line with relevant legislation and regulation. This includes the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 and Regulations 2005, Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Regulations 2017 and the Security Industry Act 1997 and Regulations 2016. As Ramp Duty Shift Supervisor at Sydney Airport I gained the skills to build and maintain long-term productive relationships with clients and staff, and liaise with airport authorities and make sure successful outcomes of any project given by them to implement/enforce to other contractors to adhere and comply while working at the airport. I coordinate with WHS Committee and Health & Safety Representative where I am dealing with WHS issues within my nominated work groups. I have an ability to deal with any complex and private issues in an empathetic and confidential manner. I require to conduct safety and risk assessments for various departments and sites. In December 2019, I have completed M.Phil. Degree in Geoscience from UNSW-Sydney. My exceptional written communication skills are proven through my completion of Master’s degree, and publication of my University of New South Wales research in a peer review journal as follows: Muzzamal, M, Huang, J, Nielson, R.
