Over the past 20+ years, I have built and scaled fintech platforms for some of the world’s leading companies in Financial Services Industry, driving financial services penetration across both emerging and developed markets. My Fintech foundations were built at a leading universal banking tech company, where I spent over a decade in engineering, implementation, and solution sales. I had the privilege of working alongside some of the industry’s finest technologists and bankers, gaining hands-on experience in large-scale banks across countries in Asia and Africa. I then transitioned to a market leadership role in Europe, spearheading pre-sales for another world-class fintech product company. In the past two years, I have ventured into sustainable fintech entrepreneurship, gaining firsthand insights into the challenges faced by MSMEs and underserved communities. Most recently in Corporate, I served as Engineering Head for Regional Commercial & Future-Ready Fintech Platforms at DBS Bank, leading the Technology Engineering efforts that contributed to its recognition as the Best Bank in the World. I was responsible for transforming, building, scaling, and running salient financial technology platforms. A key aspect of my role was not only to align technology strategy with evolving business needs but also to recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams. Finally, foster digital trust as the foundation for building lasting relationships with business, risk, and operations leadership.
