About Mudit Gilotra

I work as a tireless advocate and healer for people who are homeless and marginalized. I am especially interested in opportunities to look at how health technology can help marginalized and underserved communities.Dr. Mudit Gilotra, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over a decade of clinical experience working with people who are homeless. He provides an expansive set of clinical services including Medication Assisted Treatment, and treatment of complex mental health disorders.Further, Dr. Gilotra has helped start up a FQHC in Philadelphia for people who are homeless, designing the clinical programming and building an integrated team of medical, mental health, and dental professionals. Dr. Gilotra took that organization through two successful HRSA site visits and built a robust quality improvement program that has been recognized nationally. Dr. Gilotra was deeply involved in the build out of the EHR and developed reporting systems to drive programming.Currently, Dr. Gilotra runs a large FQHC for homeless people in Santa Clara County, CA which cares for about homeless people. Dr. Gilotra manages the clinical operations of the 15 clinical sites, including the medical and behavioral health teams.Prior to working in homeless healthcare, Dr. Gilotra ran a health center in Rural Ethiopia for a year, serving a catchment area of people. Dr. Gilotra trained local nurses and developed robust metrics and workflows to improve the delivery of care.Dr. Gilotra received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and Doctor of Medicine degree from Sydney Kimmel Medical College. Further, he has received an MPH at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is board certified in Family Medicine.
