As a Data Security Protection Engineer with 10+ years of experience, I help clients across various industries to secure their sensitive data and infrastructure from cyber threats. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and I have multiple certifications in Guardium, Azure, CyberArk, and Splunk. Including the Operating systems like Windows and Linux. Also programming language being used previously - Python. My most recent role was as an Assistant Manager at MetLife, where I led the Vulnerability Management and compliance for the database teams, using tools like IBM Guardium, Imperva, and SonarG. I also created and executed policies based on attack surface and regulations such as SOX, PII, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. My expertise also includes endpoint security, web application firewall, GRC, SIEM, and identity and access management. I am passionate about data security and always eager to learn new technologies and best practices. I am currently on an open work permit in Canada and looking for new opportunities to leverage my skills and experience. At a AM capacity my soft skills will include working on Power BI, Microsoft Excel. I used to manage a team of 10 associates for Alert, Incident response and Infrastructure monitoring & maintenance.
