I’ve spent the last decade immersed in the world of logistics and supply chain management, where I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats—from a system operator at Nestlé Lanka to my current role as Team Manager at Almarai. Each step has been a building block that has shaped my understanding of how vital efficient operations are to an organization’s success. I genuinely enjoy diving into the nitty-gritty of warehouse operations and inventory control, finding joy in optimizing processes that lead to tangible improvements. At Almarai, I’ve been fortunate enough to lead a talented team where we’ve made significant strides together. For instance, by strategically allocating tasks within our warehouse operations, we boosted productivity by 25% over six months.
