About Mufeed Ahmed

With over 13 years of experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Government Consulting & Advisory, I have been at the forefront of driving large-scale social impact initiatives, policy reforms, and institutional strengthening across India. Currently, as a Senior Consultant – Government Advisiory at KPMG India, I play a key role in advising government bodies, corporates, and development organizations on CSR strategy, ESG frameworks, policy design, and public-private partnerships. My expertise spans across localizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), institutional capacity-building, grassroots development, and designing high-impact Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) strategies to foster sustainable social change. Throughout my career, I have led and contributed to transformative projects with NITI Aayog, MCA, MoPR, MoRD, MoWCD, and various state governments, facilitating policy frameworks, strategic roadmaps, and governance models that enhance public service delivery and corporate sustainability practices. My experience also includes fostering convergence between government agencies and the private sector, ensuring impactful execution of CSR initiatives, and strengthening monitoring & evaluation systems for sustainable outcomes. Prior to KPMG, I held leadership roles at Orange Mantra Technology, Piramal Group, and SRF, where I designed and executed ESG-aligned CSR programs in education, healthcare, skill development, rural governance, and technology-driven interventions. My ability to bridge the gap between policy, corporate strategy, and grassroots implementation has enabled me to drive stakeholder engagement, corporate philanthropy, and community development at scale. A Master of Human Resource Managment graduate from Aligarh Muslim University, I remain deeply committed to mentorship, thought leadership, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. I firmly believe in the transformative power of responsible business practices and strategic government interventions to create lasting societal impact.
