Muhammad Bima is a Chemical Engineering graduate from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, with nearly 8 years of experience at Pertamina. He is a passionate professional in the oil and gas industry, specializing in Oil Refinery Process Engineering & Commissioning Start-Up. Throughout his career, Bima has contributed to numerous projects that have significantly enhanced operational efficiency, refinery capacity, and production of valuable products. Currently, Bima is focused on the RDMP RU V Balikpapan Project, one of Indonesia's largest national strategic initiatives. In this role, he leads the Commissioning & Start-Up of key refinery units. With a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines, he thrives in challenging environments. His leadership has enabled his team to achieve operational readiness ahead of schedule, significantly impacting project timelines & deliverables. This success has the potential to save Pertamina over $600 millions in tax refund and $3.4 billions in Tax Holiday by producing LPG from the Project units before the end of 2025. In addition to his core responsibility, he actively participate in revamping efforts for CDU, VDU, and HCU, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and deliver value. He is dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation within his teams, and he is eager to connect with fellow professionals to explore new opportunities in the energy sector.
