About Muhammad Fahad Ehsan

Dr. Ehsan is a GMP/GLP certified analytical professional with international experience working in a laboratory setting using standard equipment such as HPLC, GC-MS, UV-Vis DRS, XRD, SEM, TEM, TOC, and ICP-MS. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical/Materials Chemistry from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, an M. Phil. in Nanotechnology from Bahauddin Zakariya University, and a Bachelor of Sciences in Chemistry from the same university. With a background in scientific research, teaching, and academic management, Dr. Ehsan is currently a part-time faculty at Northeastern University's College of Engineering, where he teaches graduate courses in Environmental Engineering and is a Research Scientist in the same department, coordinating laboratory work and supervising research students. Ehsan is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Bahauddin Zakariya University's Institute of Chemical Sciences, collaborating with other researchers and expanding the university's research program. Additionally, he is an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Materials and a Guest Associate Editor for Frontiers in Nanotechnology, editing scientific manuscripts and overseeing the review process. With a proven success rate of problem-solving in material design through chemistry within dynamic environments, Dr. Ehsan's research interests include generation of energetic redox species for applications in renewable energy production systems, solar fuels production, pollutant degradation, and battery recycling. He is highly skilled in creating and carrying out experimental plans, summarizing key learnings, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Empower, NuGenesis, LIMS, and Origin 8 Pro.
